#I just really need to talk about this…the first thing joe does the moment he wakes up in the lab, is to look for nicky. it looks like he’s waking up from a nightmare from the way he’s flinching, it takes him a fraction of a second to realize where he is, remembering what happened before and instantly, he’s frantically turning his head to the side, searching for nicky, his eyes blown wide. his eyes literally screaming, “nicolò! where is nicolò!” and when his eyes land on his nicky, he visibly relaxes but quickly looks back at him again to make sure he’s okay, to make sure that nicky is actuallythere. in those moments, it’s their eyes that speak. are you okay, joe asks. only after that, satisfied that nicky is okay, does joe turn his head, watching doctor kozak walk away. and then he allows himself to slightly relax, letting out a sigh. nicky is with him, he’s right next to him and he’s okay. joe can breathe. and nicky, nicky is relieved joe is awake, that he too is okay and then nicky speaks, knowing exactly what to say to help ease joe’s worry in a way he’s probably done hundreds of times before and once joe hears nicky’s voice, it’s music to joe’s ears and they easily slip into being them.

It’s a lot easier to prevent cramps from getting bad than to stop them once they already are. Take the medicine sooner and use the heating pad sooner rather than later.
This is true of pain medication for ANY condition. My mom drilled this into me back when she worked as an O.R. nurse: Do not wait until the pain is bad. If you know it’s going to be, get ahead of it. First cramp? Medicate now. Twinges of a headache? Medicate now. Pulled your back and you know you’ll feel it later? Medicate NOW.
A lot of people are surprised Leverage made it this far, and have never even heard of the show before. The thing is…that’s because this show basically has no problems. No controversies. There is no huge fandom wails about how unfair that season ender was, or how badly they butchered so-and-so’s character arc. In fact, I think someone once did an analysis of all the Leverage fanfiction and discovered that essentially every fic labeled “fix-it” was a crossover where Leverage fixed issues for a different fandom.
It’s a solid, tight, comfort show! As long as what comforts you is brutal takedowns of evil capitalists and recompense for their victims.

Even if it hadn’t picked up again in Leverage Redemption, the finale of the original series ends with what are basically marriage vows for the three of them
Then when it did get picked up for the sequel, it shows the three of them living together in a house they custom built for each of their tastes (A big kitchen for Eliot to cook in, special vents for Parker to crawl around in, giant TV for Hardison to nerd out on)
They even have plans to make sure they stay together forever!
